Movie Review - Polite Society

This week on End Credits, we have wedding bell blues. Well, not us necessarily, but the heroines of this week’s film do. In this episode, we watch a movie that takes us to one of those most ordinary of summer activities, going to a wedding. We’re watching Polite Society, a hit from this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Also, we’ve got another Indiana Jones to talk about.

Love Unequivocally

Candice goes on much too long about how much the hot weather gets her down, while Steph reflects on how young people take care of each other in the hot weather and how we don't love enough.

Movie Review - Celebrating 300 Episodes of End Credits Radio!

This week on End Credits, we have cause for celebration. Some how, we’ve now cranked out 300 episodes of this local movie show for local movie fans, and on this distinguished occasion, we’re giving our listeners the present. Congratulations, you are about to listen to the biggest draft any movie show has ever done as we look back at some of our greatest hits!

This Wednesday, June 7, at 3 pm, Adam A. Donaldson, Candice Lepage, Peter Salmon and Tim Phillips will discuss:

300! Is this is madness? No, this is the 300th episode of the show! It was six years ago this week that we sat down and produced episode one of End Credits. It wasn’t the first movie show ever produced, but it was the Guelphiest, and to mark 299 episodes completed so far, we’re this week joined by the entire panel for the End Credits 300th Episode Draft! From the some 280-plus reviews done on this show, the cast will each draw five movies from five different categories that represent some of our best memories. This. Is. SPAR-TA!!!

Movie Review - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

This week on End Credits, we head into the beautiful and forever sky. No, we’re not dying, but we are going back to space with the latest edition of the Guardians of the Galaxy, who are now up to Volume 3. Along with that, we will talk about remakes, which despite what you heard are not always terrible. All this as we take one last ride before getting to 300 episodes!

Movie Review - Are You There God? It's Me Margaret.

This week on End Credits, we grow up. Not that this is an immature enterprise, but there are some serious big-time adult issues that we have to discuss about the entertainment business, and then the movie of the week is also about growing up. We’re reviewing Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret. and we’re also going to talk about Hollywood’s present labour strife.

Movie Review - Scream VI

This week on End Credits, we catch up with old friends, and newer old friends. We had to wait a whole year, but we finally get a new entry in the retooled Scream franchise, which means we’re heading to New York (via Montreal) for Scream VI. And sticking to the horror realm, we’re going to play a game and dive deep into horror’s golden age in the 1980s.

Movie Review - Cocaine Bear

This week on End Credits, we’re just saying “yes” to drugs. Well, we’re saying “yes” to movies about animals doing drugs and then attacking people. If you’re unsure based on this complete lack of subtlety, we’re reviewing Cocaine Bear, which may end up one day being a cult classic, but in case it doesn’t, we’ll suggest a few other movies that are already classics.

Movie Review: Knock At The Cabin

This week on End Credits, we’re back at the end of the world. Again. Our tour guide is M. Night Shyamalan, a man with many hits and many misses and not much in between. So is Knock at the Cabin one of the hits or is one of the misses? We will make that determination, and we will also talk about other entries from the Shyamalan canon that definitely qualify as hits.
