Upon news this morning that yet another person has been taken by cancer too young, this a very dear woman, mother to a friend I've had almost all of my life, I realize that it can happen at any time, to anyone, and usually much too early.This gives me even more drive to stay healthy and active, take care of things that concern me and get all of my regular check-ups, no matter how uncomfortable.
But more importantly, it reminds me to live a life as happily as I can because it's just too short. Even 100 more years doesn't seem long enough to take it all in.
